Neurology, Psychiatry and Brain Research (NPBR) publishes original papers and reviews in neurology, biologically oriented psychiatry and psychotherapy, neuropsychoimmunology, neuropsychiatry and the neurosciences. Interdisciplinary and translational research is particularly appreciated.
NPBR goes back a long way - and building on its tradition now moves forward. Founded in 1878 as the Centralblatt für Nervenheilkunde, Psychiatrie und gerichtliche Psychopathologie it is the oldest German journal in this field. Elsevier is proud to announce that, as of Vol. 17 (2011), it has taken over publication of NPBR as of Vol. 17 (2011).
